Last weekend we travelled North to Bonnie Scotland (well a soaking wet Glasgow actually) for a family wedding. The bride, our niece Varisha, was marrying Scotsman Alec.

The wedding was held in Pollokshields burgh hall. A magnificent building both outside and
inside,
The grounds, Maxwell Park is lovely but unfortunately this was just a brief respite from the monsoon which lasted most of the day.
There was lots of drink...
and of course cake...
We dressed in our best..
It was good for the three cousins to be together to celebrate ...
then there was a ceilidh...
