The window is dressed for the occasion - knitted bunting inside cos it won't do well in the rain - just like those knitted swim suits!!
And lots of ribbon in red, white and blue and red white and blue!!
New in today we have a delivery of Trekking sock yarn - these are wonderful for the striped effect they produce with simple plain knitting.
They come in kit form too - all you need to knit your first pair of socks - a set of 5 double pointed needles, wool, pattern, instructions, stitch markers and even a needle to sew up the toes.
this is Ann - our first customer to come back into the shop wearing what she has knitted - a lovely summer scarf in Aruba.
And finally - the scenic shot - this perfect family of swans on the Bradley Pond in Crawcrook in the sun last Sunday - hope we get some sun this weekend.
