Good wishes and a good start

Ready Steady Knit has made a good start and I would like to thank all my friends and family for their good wishes
I thought you might like to see some of what we have in the shop. Lots of pattens and yarn to knit for babies - everyone loves baby knitting. This little boys cardigan takes only 2 balls of Sirdar snuggly  and it is quick and easy to knit.

This Corilana wool is  also in stock - 100% natural undyed wool comes in the colours of the sheep. Direct from New Zealand it comes from Bev's farm Black Hills near Christchurch in New Zealand.  We have 3 shades of the aran weight wool in stock and a number of patterns.

We are also stocking designer original patterns  from local designer Stephanie Waugh. The finished cardigan in mohair is shown here. We sell the patterns but can also put you in touch with Stephanie if you would like to buy a kit.

It has been great to welcome old friends in the shop and great when Dawn popped in to show us these wonderful owl tea cozies she has been knitting.

And the blog wouldn't be complete without a scenic shot. The cherry blossom trees in Prudhoe have been quite spectacular earlier in the month before the rains came.
